About Me

Tobias

I combine hands‑on delivery with strategic leadership across business, IT, and data & analytics. My career began in 2003 managing the IT landscape for a marketing agency; after completing an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk I became an SAP BW key user at a manufacturing company, supporting sales teams with insight generation. While studying alongside work, I moved into consulting in 2013 to develop BI solutions for fashion and retail. In 2016 I joined Accenture, where I co‑founded the Customer Analytics practice for the DACH region.

In 2020 I led the AI Operating Model capability at Accenture DACH. During that time I also stepped in as interim leader to establish an enterprise data function for one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies and, in 2021, took on a Chief Data Officer mandate for a mid‑sized pharma firm. In 2022 I helped set up Microsoft’s Digital Advisory practice for Healthcare & Life Sciences across EMEA.

Since 2023 I have been providing interim Chief Data & Transformation Officer services to enterprises and private‑equity‑backed companies, partnering with renowned clients across pharma, healthcare, retail and technology. Over the past decade I’ve mentored and advised hundreds of professionals on career development and skills growth, helping them navigate transitions into data, analytics and leadership roles.
